UA3 Works Closely with Exceptional Partners

Make a Difference. Come Join Us!

UNITED WAY OF NEW YORK

United Way of New York City began its work focusing on education: the foundation for future success. They found that in our City, 70% of children were not reading at grade level—a critical benchmark for educational advancement. That number was even higher in areas of extreme poverty like Mott Haven in the South Bronx. United Way's focus is to identify and resolve pressing community issues like food insecurity and education; they make measurable changes in communities through partnerships with schools, government agencies, businesses, and other methods.

TRINITY CHURCH WALL STREET

Trinity Church Wall Street is an Episcopal community that accepts all faiths and provides visitors with free events such as educational classes and dynamic concerts. They have provided UA3 with countless boxes of Quaker oats, Skippy peanut butter, rice, and a multitude of goods that we use to serve our community with. The Trinity Church has also donated a refrigerated truck to keep our vegetables and produce fresh. We thank the Trinity Church Wall Street for their invaluable contributions to not only UA3, but our community.

Lions Club

Our mission is to empower volunteers to serve in their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding though the Lions Clubs.

LIONS are volunteer members of the world largest not-for-profit NGO (non government organization) the Lions Clubs International “LCI”.   Founded in 1917, in the midst of World War I, one of the goals of the Lions Clubs International is that of fostering global friendships with the purpose of halting aggression and helping communities in need.

384 Grand Street HDFC

384 Grand has been the primary partner with UA3 to provide a source of affordable housing to the community and provide generous support of the UA3 team. This enables those in need to have a safe home that allows low-wage earners the ability to find meaningful and rewarding work in today's economy. The people served have housing they can utilize to become greater participants in the community at large. The 384 Grand Street five (5) story building also provides a revenue stream that enables UA3 to support our Digital Divide initiative.
