Food distribution
Coverage from 2020 includes UA3 and supporters distributing 1,800 gallons of milk and 3,500 pounds of fresh produce in Sunset Park on July 16; PIX11’s August 22 report marking one million pounds of farm-fresh produce distributed with Vision Urbana; and a 54,000-pound distribution in Brownsville on September 5.
Meals for frontline workers
UA3’s archive says volunteers delivered 275 lunches to Clove Lakes Health Care & Rehabilitation Center on July 16, 2020 and 40 lunches each to FDNY EMS Stations 22 and 23 on July 17. The COVID-response page also documents dated April 2020 meal, PPE, and grocery deliveries across multiple hospitals and neighborhoods.
